AskGPT is "Siri to AskGPT to Siri", so you can interact with ChatGPT from your iPhone, by voice and get responses to question you asked spoken to you by Siri. This is handy when driving for example, just like Siri can be but with AI power.
AskGPT is not there to replace ChatGPT own app but it was released before ChatGPT became available and has some cool features, one of them is you can attach to the iOS Action button for immediate availability, which can't be done with a regular app as quickly to start it. On older iPhone than iPhone with Action buttons you can also make it one tap with Assistive touch.
AskGPT uses Apple Shortcuts on the device and setip.io for backend processing.
How to use AskGPT
Get from iCloud. This will let the Shortcut App configure itself for AskGPT. After you launch make sure you have the latest version by taping on Update from the AskGPT menu.

This also allows you to customize pretty much anything unlike a regular iOS app you would be able to install from the App Store only.
Shortcuts are simple files that can be downloaded from Apple iCloud and loaded just like regular apps, but no need for the app store and they benefit from Apple's secure environment just like regular apps.

Anything, pretty much anything, from "Teach me how to write an iOS Shortcut!" to "Write me a poem about fish!" to "Write me a short paper on Picasso!" and your imagination is the limit, be amazed. The model used is: text-davinci-003, more models will be available in the future.
